Printmakers Open

30th April to 22nd May 2022

Saturday 30th April will see the opening of Sou’-Sou’-West Gallery’s 7th annual Printmakers Open.  To capitalise on the success of this ever popular show, this year the gallery has encouraged submissions of work where emerging and well-established printmakers from across the south west are exploring new exciting methods, processes or subject matter, as well as using the more traditional methods, such as etchings, woodcuts, linocuts, collographs, carborundorum, dry points, mokuhanga, monoprints, lithographs, and more.

Bath Society of Artists Open exhibition

Thrilled to have my print, “The One Who Plants The Tree”, selected to be hung at the Bath Society of Artists Annual Open Exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. The exhibition opens on the 2nd October and runs until the 20th November 2021, a must for art lovers and collectors alike…

Cornwall in August?

Tucked away at the end of Cape Cornwall is a cottage built in the 1800s as the boiler house for the Cape Cornwall tin mine, the westernmost dwelling on the English mainland! The artist Tracy O’Kates purchased the property in 1978 and when she died left it in trust as a residency for the benefit of woman artists. This has changed and now any artist can apply….

For two weeks in August, at the hight of staycation I hunkered down at Brisons Veor with a box of inks, paint paper and a fridge full of goodies, surrounded by the sea…..
